How to Choose the Right Wide-Format Inkjet Media for Your Print Project

Choosing the right print media can make a major difference in the appearance, durability, and overall quality of a finished print. Whether you're producing professional photography, fine-art reproductions, signs, banners, or promotional graphics, the media should match both your printer and the intended application.

At ArtDeco Media, our selection of professional wide-format inkjet media includes photo papers, canvas, fine-art papers, adhesive vinyl, and banner materials for a variety of professional printing projects. Art Deco Media

Photo Paper for Professional Prints

Photo paper is an excellent choice when image detail, color, and presentation are the priority. The finish you choose can dramatically change the final appearance.

Gloss Photo Paper provides a smooth, highly reflective surface that can make colors appear especially vibrant. Luster Photo Paper combines rich color and contrast with a more subtle sheen, while Satin Photo Paper provides another professional option for photographic printing. For projects where reduced reflection is preferred, Matte Photo Paper provides a softer, more understated appearance. Art Deco Media

Canvas and Fine-Art Media

For artwork, photography, reproductions, and decorative graphics, canvas and fine-art papers provide additional texture and character.

ArtDeco offers options such as Cotton Matte Canvas and PolyCotton Blend Satin Canvas for professional canvas printing. Artists and print professionals looking for a paper surface can also consider Velvet Textured Bright White Matte Fine Art Paper, which provides a textured matte surface suited to fine-art applications. Vinyl and Banner Media for Signs and Displays

Not every print is intended to hang in a frame. Print shops and sign makers often need media designed for promotional graphics, displays, and signage.

Gloss Adhesive Vinyl provides an option for adhesive graphics, while Smooth Scrim Matte Banner is designed for larger-format banner applications. Choosing media specifically suited to the intended application can help make production more predictable from printing through finishing. Art Deco Media

Choosing the Best Media

Before purchasing wide-format inkjet media, consider your printer and ink compatibility, finish, thickness, texture, roll size, application, and required durability. Matching these characteristics to your project can help produce more consistent, professional-looking results.

From professional photo papers and fine-art surfaces to canvas, vinyl, and banner media, ArtDeco Media offers options for a wide range of professional printing applications. Choosing the right material is the first step toward getting the result you want from your printer.
